Profile

Lara Goyen is a NIDA-trained professional makeup artist whose practice spans natural beauty, editorial, character design and special effects. Her work moves fluidly between camera, stage and print — informed by a careful eye for how makeup reads in each medium.

Recent credits include Phantom of the Opera and Guys and Dolls at the Sydney Opera House, NIDA productions of Frankenstein, Cabaret and Alice Mother of Cinema, short films, music videos, and campaign work for Chanel and MAC Cosmetics. Each project is approached with craft, collaboration and a quiet respect for the people in the chair.
